- The JCL uses Mr. NFL's 2008 Final Version of Tecmo Super Bowl. We will be using the most up-to-date ROM for the season. Currently we have made these changes: universal BC +1 notch, universal KA +2 notches.
- A coach is someone who will be playing 2 teams, 1 AFC 1 NFC, in the JCL during the 10 week season schedule and 4 round post season schedule.
- All coaches must use ZSNES 1.42 unless two coaches agree to play with each other on another EMU.
- For quick, stable and dependable online games, the JCL supports the use of Hamachi. All coaches are required to use Hamachi unless two coaches agree to play each other in some other way.
- All games are played using the default 5 minute quarters.
- Coaches are not allowed to skip the coin-toss or any other act not mentioned that will interfere with game play.
- Coaches will sign up before or during pre-season. New coaches will have to choose their teams from the remaining list.
- After a season is completed. Coaches will choose one of their teams to keep for the next season. Their second team will be drafted from the remaining list. Your drafting position will be decided on how well the team you chose, performed during the season. The worst teams will choose first and so on. We encourage all coaches to stay through their first season so even if they end up with some mediocre teams, they will be able to re-draft during their 2nd season and get better teams.
- If a coach drops out during the season, their spot will be filled with a CPU.
- A coach can only sign up during the season to replace a CPU coach. Aspiring coaches can also join the waiting list and will be eligible for play when a coach drops out of the season.
- Coaches are responsible for recording who on their team fumbled the ball and whether or not is recovered as well as any injuries including the player injured and the quarter it happend.
- If a game becomes disconnected, the coaches must re-play the game. NO EXCEPTIONS. If disconnections become a problem with any coach, they will be promptly kicked out of the league.
- If a coach is unable to play their game by the required date, the must alert their opponent and me.
- If a coach misses a game with no warning or has to take an extended absence, their teams will be defaulted to CPU. Unless the coach has a reason for their absence, their team will be up for grabs for other coaches.
- If the original coach decides to give up their duties for a single or both teams during the season (so someone else can play) but plans on returning, they must send me a message with their intentions for the remaining season.
- If anyone decides to leave the league, temporarily or otherwise, please inform me as soon as possible.
- If you have any problems with other coaches, this website, stats, games or me :-P please inform me as soon as possible.
