The JCL uses Mr. NFL's 2008 Final Version ROM (as of season 2). For season 1, 6 coaches signed up and were assigned 2 teams. Currently, 4 coaches are still with the league. Each coach gets 2 teams (one from each conference). There will be a total of 16 teams (as of season 2) and all empty slots will be filled with CPUs. JoeSteveBob and I created the first schedule and will create all future schedules. Our schedule consists of 10 games (2 games required each week, 1 for each team). Each team will play every other team in their division as well as 3 interconference games. The top 4 teams of each conference will play in single elimination playoff games similar to the NFL. The best team from NFC and AFC conferences will play to decide the JCL champions.
(As of season 2) we will be using a 2 conference, 3 division per conference set-up. Conferences are set-up the same as the NFL while divisions have been decided by me and JoeSteveBob. We will stil have a 10 game schedule but who you play will be different considering the increase in teams. We play coach mode only (during season play). Playing in COA mode means that just about anyone who knows something about football can pick up the game and play in our league. It makes everyone's skills balanced, leaves some plays up to random chance but games do require strategic ability (and often, knowing your opponent and predicting what they will do next). Finally, we play COA mode because it makes CPU opponents tougher to beat (sometimes) and because the stats of players do not matter as much.
There are very few rules regarding play in the game because there is nothing to manipulate besides plays and players. Obviously, people who quit, D/C or those who do not keep track of stats will be kicked out of the league.

JoeSteveBob - Helps me with the schedule as well as brainstorming ideas on how to make this the best league ever. Also an original coach.
