Pass: NFC - 170 (Moss 104, TD) - AFC - 126 (Jackson 92, TD)
The NFC win the oppening toss and choose to receive. The NFC runs Portis over and over again but then Campbell (Redskins) bombs a pass to Gore (49ers) to bring them into the redzone. Campbell, not happy with this awesome throw, runs in the touchdown himself but pr0bowl kicker Akers (Eagles) misses the extra point bringing the score to 6 - 0.
AFC's first possesion is nothing but runs one after the other and not to be outdone, Peyton Manning (Colts) bombs a pass to Gates (Chargers) for the TD making the score 6 - 7.
On the NFC's return, Landry (Redskins) returns the ball for a league record of 58 yards. Looking for another score, the NFC gets stuffed after a sack by Haynesworth (Chargers) and the AFC holds them back to a FG which surprisingly, Akers makes bringing the score to 9 - 7.
The AFC doesn't accomplish much on their possession. An easy first down was dropped by Ginn Jr. (Dolphins) and they were forced to punt the ball.
Landry once again amazes with a 31 yard punt return. Once again, the AFC D proves too much as Haynesworth pulls of another sack but this time, Akers fails to make the field goal.
The AFC decides to run LT (Chargers) repeatedly but after 2 sacks, they are forced to punt which is then blocked by the NFC.
The NFC takes advantage of this and runs Gore for 2 first downs and then a TD pass to Moss (Redskins). Akers makes the extra point bringing the score to 13 - 7
The AFC, feeling the pressure, scores right back with a bomb to Jackson (Chargers) and runs LT in for the TD passing the NFC 13 - 14.
The NFC gains control of the ball to try to score but they are immediatley stopped by the AFC defense and punt the ball with only a few minutes remaining.
The AFC decides to run and pass to Parker (Steelers) who gains 29 yards, then 15, then loses 2. Manning finishes off the drive with a pass to TD pass to Jackson, furturing their lead to 13 - 21.
Though the game is basically over and time is almost up, the NFC has time for one more play. Campbell fades back and connects with fellow teammate, Moss, for a 70 yard pass that falls 5 yards short of a TD.
